Sugar Cane is a natural fibre, which means these containers can degrade naturally and safely (and compost in the correct conditions). A non-toxic food grade chemical is added to improve resistance to hot oil and water. These are suitable for microwaving and refrigerating.

A food grade chemical is added and the end result is a product that is oil proof and water resistant, and fit for microwave use and refrigeration.
